Jul 27, 2015  TAB has been used in tables in Word (Mac and Win) for a long time to move to the next cell, even if cursor is in a list. Just tested TextEdit, and TAB moves to the next cell, unless the cursor is in a list. Then it increases the indent. Couldn't find a keystroke to move to the next cell if. Supposedly the shortcut (on Word for Mac) to indent is command-M. This is also the universal shortcut to minimize windows on Mac computers, so when I hit command-M, it just minimizes and doesn't indent.

Hi, I'm new to pages, and I'm having problems controlling lists; First off: increasing and decreasing indent levels. The increase works by using Tab key, but the decrease I just can't make work. Help says the shortcut is Command-[, the '[' doesn't exist on my non-US keyboard (DK keyboard to be precise) - any ideas of how to get around this?! Secondly; if a have a list and select one or several lines, go to the list dropdown menu and choose None (I want to discard the list), then instead of the text being 'reset' and going to the left side margin, it removes the list ok, but then tabs in the text one more step than they already were. And I can't seem to get them back out to the left margin. Sorry I'm a bit lost here 🙂 Have been an advanced user of MS office for many years, but now I'm completely back to baby-user 🙂 Thanks for your help! I write a lot in both Italian and English (often both in the same document) and my Italian keyboard does fine for everything in English too.
